Together with neighbors, users, and local initiatives, we’re turning our focus to Peter-Zadek-Platz:
What’s missing? What’s disturbing? What could be possible?

Peter-Zadek-Platz in Bremen is located between Schwankhalle, Städtische Galerie, MIB, and residential buildings – right next to the Kleine Weser and its grassy riverbanks. In order to sustainably improve the quality of stay for audiences, visitors, neighbors, and passersby, the local cultural institutions have initiated a participatory design process.

At a kick-off meeting, initial needs were identified and possibilities for implementation explored. In a follow-up workshop with sensory exercises and one-on-one dialogues, the first shared visions and concrete ideas for change emerged.

UVM is designing and moderating the participation process and developing suitable methodological formats.
The goal: a shared proposal for the further development of the square – supported by many.
