Following on from the Park Fiction Committee’s wish collection/participation entitled ‘Die Füße in die Elbe strecken’, we are working with projektbüro and Prof. Antje Stokman on a collaborative process to “Qualify the waterfront between Fischmarkt and Landungsbrücken”. In several steps, the aim is to develop ‘a counterpart for Antonipark, a gap in the Elbe landscape axis’ in cooperation with local residents, initiatives and tradespeople, as well as representatives from administration and politics.

With mapping and stakeholder interviews, the 600 meters of the waterfront ‘St. Pauli Hafenkante’ will be closely examined at the beginning. Who and what is already there? What is already happening here? What plans already exist?

In summer 2024, things will get more specific. With the question “Hafenkante, what can you do?”, the waterfront will be put to the test in 1:1 on-site actions and perhaps a piece of the future will already be anticipated.
